Great course, good TEFL foundations, all presented and wrapped up in a very enjoyable and organised way

Dr Paul Goldsmith (Phd), UK

Really Great. Some major fears i had about teaching have been totally overcome! And i know all too well because i had the chance to practice in a real class 8 times.

Megan Feniak, Missionary, USA

This note is to express my sincere thought on the program last month in which I had participated. To me, it was an enjoyable one. I did learned a lot and would help me in my teaching career in the long run. All of the trainers af the institute and staff at the library were very helpful and supportive. As a PR person myself, i would certainly recommend this program to others who are interested in learning different teaching styles and methods.

Aj. Sirikorn Rochanasak, Professor, Thailand

Just wanted to say hello and give you the news that you can add me to your list of successes. I have been hired in Khon Kaen at a Private Catholic school for the summer program and for next term 2010-2011. I was one of 8 applicants to the school but the only CMU TEFL certificate holder. Seems there is truth in your statement that a CMU TEFL certificate carries more weight than most others. I did a demo class using the skills learned in your program and it went over extremely well. The school director, a Catholic priest, was in attendance and personally issued the directive that I should be offered the position. The school is fairly large, 3000 students, and should provide a good source of experience. Despite not be a degree holder and a Thai national, I'm living proof that it IS possible to find good employment as an EFL teacher. Thank you for the training that enabled me to reach this point in my life.
